The Refugee Mapping Tool is a resource for the workforce system to identify the numbers of refugees, asylees, Cuban Haitian entrants, Special Immigrant Visa holders and Amerasians by location using four navigation options. The goals in sharing this data are two-fold: to provide State and Local Workforce Investment Boards with information regarding an untapped employment pool with vast potential and diverse experience, and to help inform local strategies including training and investment priorities.
The refugee mapping project is a partnership between the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement.
